Three festivals in the Philippines
Every place has different types of festival, and all of that Festival have a different type of meaning. That's why if you want to go here in Philippines you must visit these three festivals that I gonna put in this Blog.
Pahiyas Festival
Pahiyas Festival is a colorful festival here in the
Philippines, this celebration is to honor San Isidro Labrador for having a good
harvest. Pahiyas is deeply rooted in the traditional celebration of the town's
fold in thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest, the decorations that you see in
the picture are known as Kiping, and when you are a visitor o,r local people
who joined their festival you can have also free food.
Higantes Festival
Higantes Festival is one of the awaited events here in the Philippines, because of this unique celebration in Angono, Rizal. As you can see in the picture the Higantes is having a colorful dress that makes it more beautiful, this is held every November 23, and this festival is also known as the Art Capital of the Philippines.
Panagbenga Festival is an annual flower festival, celebrated
every February. Panagbenga is coming
from the word kankanaey which means the season of blooming. This festival
reflects the history, traditions, and values of Baguio and the cordillera. This
last over a month long and flourishes through community spirit involvement,
that's why if you want to discover and join their festival you can visit Baguio
in February.
